וַ/יִּתְחַזֵּ֛קוַ/יִּתְחַזֵּ֛ק שְׁלֹמֹ֥השְׁלֹמֹ֥ה בֶןבֶן דָּוִ֖ידדָּוִ֖יד עַלעַל מַלְכוּת֑/וֹמַלְכוּת֑/וֹ וַ/יהוָ֤הוַ/יהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהָי/ו֙אֱלֹהָי/ו֙ עִמּ֔/וֹעִמּ֔/וֹ וַֽ/יְגַדְּלֵ֖/הוּוַֽ/יְגַדְּלֵ֖/הוּ לְ/מָֽעְלָ/הלְ/מָֽעְלָ/ה
<솔로몬 왕이 지혜를 구하다; 왕상3:1-15>다윗의 아들 솔로몬의 왕위가 견고하여 가며 그의 하나님 여호와께서 그와 함께 하사 심히 창대하게 하시니라
Solomon, the son of King David, now took firm control of the kingdom, for the LORD his God was with him and made him very powerful.

וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶרוַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹ֣השְׁלֹמֹ֣ה לְ/כָללְ/כָל יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ליִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל לְ/שָׂרֵי֩לְ/שָׂרֵי֩ הָ/אֲלָפִ֨יםהָ/אֲלָפִ֨ים וְ/הַ/מֵּא֜וֹתוְ/הַ/מֵּא֜וֹת וְ/לַ/שֹּֽׁפְטִ֗יםוְ/לַ/שֹּֽׁפְטִ֗ים וּ/לְ/כֹ֛לוּ/לְ/כֹ֛ל נָשִׂ֥יאנָשִׂ֥יא יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ליִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל רָאשֵׁ֥ירָאשֵׁ֥י הָ/אָבֽוֹתהָ/אָבֽוֹת
솔로몬이 온 이스라엘의 천부장들과 백부장들과 재판관들과 온 이스라엘의 방백들과 족장들에게 명령하여
He called together all Israel-- the generals and captains of the army, the judges, and all the political and clan leaders.

וַ/יֵּלְכ֗וּוַ/יֵּלְכ֗וּ שְׁלֹמֹה֙שְׁלֹמֹה֙ וְ/כָלוְ/כָל הַ/קָּהָ֣להַ/קָּהָ֣ל עִמּ֔/וֹעִמּ֔/וֹ לַ/בָּמָ֖הלַ/בָּמָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ראֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּ/גִבְע֑וֹןבְּ/גִבְע֑וֹן כִּיכִּי שָׁ֣םשָׁ֣ם הָיָ֗ההָיָ֗ה אֹ֤הֶלאֹ֤הֶל מוֹעֵד֙מוֹעֵד֙ הָֽ/אֱלֹהִ֔יםהָֽ/אֱלֹהִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ראֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֛העָשָׂ֛ה מֹשֶׁ֥המֹשֶׁ֥ה עֶֽבֶדעֶֽבֶד יְהוָ֖היְהוָ֖ה בַּ/מִּדְבָּֽרבַּ/מִּדְבָּֽר
솔로몬이 온 회중과 함께 기브온 산당으로 갔으니 하나님의 회막 곧 여호와의 종 모세가 광야에서 지은 것이 거기에 있음이라
Then Solomon led the entire assembly to the hill at Gibeon where God's Tabernacle was located. This was the Tabernacle that Moses, the LORD's servant, had constructed in the wilderness.

אֲבָ֗לאֲבָ֗ל אֲר֤וֹןאֲר֤וֹן הָ/אֱלֹהִים֙הָ/אֱלֹהִים֙ הֶעֱלָ֤ההֶעֱלָ֤ה דָוִיד֙דָוִיד֙ מִ/קִּרְיַ֣תמִ/קִּרְיַ֣ת יְעָרִ֔יםיְעָרִ֔ים בַּֽ/הֵכִ֥יןבַּֽ/הֵכִ֥ין ל֖/וֹל֖/וֹ דָּוִ֑ידדָּוִ֑יד כִּ֧יכִּ֧י נָֽטָהנָֽטָה ל֛/וֹל֛/וֹ אֹ֖הֶלאֹ֖הֶל בִּ/ירוּשָׁלִָֽםבִּ/ירוּשָׁלִָֽם
다윗이 전에 예루살렘에서 하나님의 궤를 위하여 장막을 쳐 두었으므로 그 궤는 다윗이 이미 기럇여아림에서부터 그것을 위하여 준비한 곳으로 메어 올렸고
David had already moved the Ark of God from Kiriath-jearim to the special tent he had prepared for it in Jerusalem.

וּ/מִזְבַּ֣חוּ/מִזְבַּ֣ח הַ/נְּחֹ֗שֶׁתהַ/נְּחֹ֗שֶׁת אֲשֶׁ֤ראֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשָׂה֙עָשָׂה֙ בְּצַלְאֵל֙בְּצַלְאֵל֙ בֶּןבֶּן אוּרִ֣יאוּרִ֣י בֶןבֶן ח֔וּרח֔וּר שָׂ֕םשָׂ֕ם לִ/פְנֵ֖ילִ/פְנֵ֖י מִשְׁכַּ֣ןמִשְׁכַּ֣ן יְהוָ֑היְהוָ֑ה וַ/יִּדְרְשֵׁ֥/הוּוַ/יִּדְרְשֵׁ֥/הוּ שְׁלֹמֹ֖השְׁלֹמֹ֖ה וְ/הַ/קָּהָֽלוְ/הַ/קָּהָֽל
옛적에 훌의 손자 우리의 아들 브살렐이 지은 놋 제단은 여호와의 장막 앞에 있더라 솔로몬이 회중과 더불어 나아가서
But the bronze altar made by Bezalel son of Uri and grandson of Hur was still at Gibeon in front of the Tabernacle of the LORD. So Solomon and the people gathered in front of it to consult the LORD.

וַ/יַּעַל֩וַ/יַּעַל֩ שְׁלֹמֹ֨השְׁלֹמֹ֨ה שָׁ֜םשָׁ֜ם עַלעַל מִזְבַּ֤חמִזְבַּ֤ח הַ/נְּחֹ֨שֶׁת֙הַ/נְּחֹ֨שֶׁת֙ לִ/פְנֵ֣ילִ/פְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔היְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ראֲשֶׁ֖ר לְ/אֹ֣הֶללְ/אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑דמוֹעֵ֑ד וַ/יַּ֧עַלוַ/יַּ֧עַל עָלָ֛י/ועָלָ֛י/ו עֹל֖וֹתעֹל֖וֹת אָֽלֶףאָֽלֶף
여호와 앞 곧 회막 앞에 있는 놋 제단에 솔로몬이 이르러 그 위에 천 마리 희생으로 번제를 드렸더라
There in front of the Tabernacle, Solomon went up to the bronze altar in the LORD's presence and sacrificed a thousand burnt offerings on it.

בַּ/לַּ֣יְלָהבַּ/לַּ֣יְלָה הַ/ה֔וּאהַ/ה֔וּא נִרְאָ֥הנִרְאָ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖יםאֱלֹהִ֖ים לִ/שְׁלֹמֹ֑הלִ/שְׁלֹמֹ֑ה וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶרוַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר ל֔/וֹל֔/וֹ שְׁאַ֖לשְׁאַ֖ל מָ֥המָ֥ה אֶתֶּןאֶתֶּן לָֽ/ךְלָֽ/ךְ
그 날 밤에 하나님이 솔로몬에게 나타나 그에게 이르시되 내가 네게 무엇을 주랴 너는 구하라 하시니
That night God appeared to Solomon in a dream and said, "What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!"

וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶרוַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹה֙שְׁלֹמֹה֙ לֵֽ/אלֹהִ֔יםלֵֽ/אלֹהִ֔ים אַתָּ֗האַתָּ֗ה עָשִׂ֛יתָעָשִׂ֛יתָ עִםעִם דָּוִ֥ידדָּוִ֥יד אָבִ֖/יאָבִ֖/י חֶ֣סֶדחֶ֣סֶד גָּד֑וֹלגָּד֑וֹל וְ/הִמְלַכְתַּ֖/נִיוְ/הִמְלַכְתַּ֖/נִי תַּחְתָּֽי/ותַּחְתָּֽי/ו
솔로몬이 하나님께 말하되 주께서 전에 큰 은혜를 내 아버지 다윗에게 베푸시고 내가 그를 대신 하여 왕이 되게 하셨사오니
Solomon replied to God, "You have been so faithful and kind to my father, David, and now you have made me king in his place.

עַתָּה֙עַתָּה֙ יְהוָ֣היְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֔יםאֱלֹהִ֔ים יֵֽאָמֵן֙יֵֽאָמֵן֙ דְּבָ֣רְ/ךָ֔דְּבָ֣רְ/ךָ֔ עִ֖םעִ֖ם דָּוִ֣ידדָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֑/יאָבִ֑/י כִּ֤יכִּ֤י אַתָּה֙אַתָּה֙ הִמְלַכְתַּ֔/נִיהִמְלַכְתַּ֔/נִי עַלעַל עַ֕םעַ֕ם רַ֖ברַ֖ב כַּ/עֲפַ֥רכַּ/עֲפַ֥ר הָ/אָֽרֶץהָ/אָֽרֶץ
여호와 하나님이여 원하건대 주는 내 아버지 다윗에게 허락하신 것을 이제 굳게 하옵소서 주께서 나를 땅의 티끌 같이 많은 백성의 왕으로 삼으셨사오니
Now, LORD God, please keep your promise to David my father, for you have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth!

עַתָּ֗העַתָּ֗ה חָכְמָ֤החָכְמָ֤ה וּ/מַדָּע֙וּ/מַדָּע֙ תֶּןתֶּן לִ֔/ילִ֔/י וְ/אֵֽצְאָ֛הוְ/אֵֽצְאָ֛ה לִ/פְנֵ֥ילִ/פְנֵ֥י הָֽ/עָםהָֽ/עָם הַ/זֶּ֖ההַ/זֶּ֖ה וְ/אָב֑וֹאָהוְ/אָב֑וֹאָה כִּֽיכִּֽי מִ֣ימִ֣י יִשְׁפֹּ֔טיִשְׁפֹּ֔ט אֶתאֶת עַמְּ/ךָ֥עַמְּ/ךָ֥ הַ/גָּדֽוֹלהַ/גָּדֽוֹל
주는 이제 내게 지혜와 지식을 주사 이 백성 앞에서 출입하게 하옵소서 이렇게 많은 주의 백성을 누가 능히 재판하리이까 하니
Give me wisdom and knowledge to rule them properly, for who is able to govern this great nation of yours?"

וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶרוַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֣יםאֱלֹהִ֣ים לִ/שְׁלֹמֹ֡הלִ/שְׁלֹמֹ֡ה יַ֣עַןיַ֣עַן אֲשֶׁר֩אֲשֶׁר֩ הָיְתָ֨ההָיְתָ֨ה זֹ֜אתזֹ֜את עִםעִם לְבָבֶ֗/ךָלְבָבֶ֗/ךָ וְ/לֹֽאוְ/לֹֽא שָׁ֠אַלְתָּשָׁ֠אַלְתָּ עֹ֣שֶׁרעֹ֣שֶׁר נְכָסִ֤יםנְכָסִ֤ים וְ/כָבוֹד֙וְ/כָבוֹד֙ וְ/אֵת֙וְ/אֵת֙ נֶ֣פֶשׁנֶ֣פֶשׁ שֹׂנְאֶ֔י/ךָשֹׂנְאֶ֔י/ךָ וְ/גַםוְ/גַם יָמִ֥יםיָמִ֥ים רַבִּ֖יםרַבִּ֖ים לֹ֣אלֹ֣א שָׁאָ֑לְתָּשָׁאָ֑לְתָּ וַ/תִּֽשְׁאַלוַ/תִּֽשְׁאַל לְ/ךָ֙לְ/ךָ֙ חָכְמָ֣החָכְמָ֣ה וּ/מַדָּ֔עוּ/מַדָּ֔ע אֲשֶׁ֤ראֲשֶׁ֤ר תִּשְׁפּוֹט֙תִּשְׁפּוֹט֙ אֶתאֶת עַמִּ֔/יעַמִּ֔/י אֲשֶׁ֥ראֲשֶׁ֥ר הִמְלַכְתִּ֖י/ךָהִמְלַכְתִּ֖י/ךָ עָלָֽי/ועָלָֽי/ו
하나님이 솔로몬에게 이르시되 이런 마음이 네게 있어서 부나 재물이나 영광이나 원수의 생명 멸하기를 구하지 아니하며 장수도 구하지 아니하고 오직 내가 네게 다스리게 한 내 백성을 재판하기 위하여 지혜와 지식을 구하였으니
God said to Solomon, "Because your greatest desire is to help your people, and you did not ask for personal wealth and honor or the death of your enemies or even a long life, but rather you asked for wisdom and knowledge to properly govern my people,

הַֽ/חָכְמָ֥ההַֽ/חָכְמָ֥ה וְ/הַ/מַּדָּ֖עוְ/הַ/מַּדָּ֖ע נָת֣וּןנָת֣וּן לָ֑/ךְלָ֑/ךְ וְ/עֹ֨שֶׁרוְ/עֹ֨שֶׁר וּ/נְכָסִ֤יםוּ/נְכָסִ֤ים וְ/כָבוֹד֙וְ/כָבוֹד֙ אֶתֶּןאֶתֶּן לָ֔/ךְלָ֔/ךְ אֲשֶׁ֣ראֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹאלֹא הָ֣יָההָ֣יָה כֵ֗ןכֵ֗ן לַ/מְּלָכִים֙לַ/מְּלָכִים֙ לְ/פָנֶ֔י/ךָלְ/פָנֶ֔י/ךָ וְ/אַחֲרֶ֖י/ךָוְ/אַחֲרֶ֖י/ךָ לֹ֥אלֹ֥א יִֽהְיֶהיִֽהְיֶה כֵּֽןכֵּֽן
그러므로 내가 네게 지혜와 지식을 주고 부와 재물과 영광도 주리니 네 전의 왕들도 이런 일이 없었거니와 네 후에도 이런 일이 없으리라 하시니라
I will certainly give you the wisdom and knowledge you requested. And I will also give you riches, wealth, and honor such as no other king has ever had before you or will ever have again!"

וַ/יָּבֹ֨אוַ/יָּבֹ֨א שְׁלֹמֹ֜השְׁלֹמֹ֜ה לַ/בָּמָ֤הלַ/בָּמָ֤ה אֲשֶׁראֲשֶׁר בְּ/גִבְעוֹן֙בְּ/גִבְעוֹן֙ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םיְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם מִ/לִּ/פְנֵ֖ימִ/לִּ/פְנֵ֖י אֹ֣הֶלאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑דמוֹעֵ֑ד וַ/יִּמְלֹ֖ךְוַ/יִּמְלֹ֖ךְ עַלעַל יִשְׂרָאֵֽליִשְׂרָאֵֽל
<솔로몬의 부귀영화; 왕상10:26-29>이에 솔로몬이 기브온 산당 회막 앞에서부터 예루살렘으로 돌아와서 이스라엘을 다스렸더라
Then Solomon returned to Jerusalem from the Tabernacle at the hill of Gibeon, and he reigned over Israel.

וַ/יֶּאֱסֹ֣ףוַ/יֶּאֱסֹ֣ף שְׁלֹמֹה֮שְׁלֹמֹה֮ רֶ֣כֶברֶ֣כֶב וּ/פָרָשִׁים֒וּ/פָרָשִׁים֒ וַֽ/יְהִיוַֽ/יְהִי ל֗/וֹל֗/וֹ אֶ֤לֶףאֶ֤לֶף וְ/אַרְבַּעוְ/אַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת֙מֵאוֹת֙ רֶ֔כֶברֶ֔כֶב וּ/שְׁנֵיםוּ/שְׁנֵים עָשָׂ֥רעָשָׂ֥ר אֶ֖לֶףאֶ֖לֶף פָּרָשִׁ֑יםפָּרָשִׁ֑ים וַ/יַּנִּיחֵ/ם֙וַ/יַּנִּיחֵ/ם֙ בְּ/עָרֵ֣יבְּ/עָרֵ֣י הָ/רֶ֔כֶבהָ/רֶ֔כֶב וְ/עִםוְ/עִם הַ/מֶּ֖לֶךְהַ/מֶּ֖לֶךְ בִּ/ירֽוּשָׁלִָֽםבִּ/ירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם
솔로몬이 병거와 마병을 모으매 병거가 천사백 대요 마병이 만 이천 명이라 병거성에도 두고 예루살렘 왕에게도 두었으며
Solomon built up a huge military force, which included fourteen hundred chariots and twelve thousand horses. He stationed many of them in the chariot cities, and some near him in Jerusalem.

וַ/יִּתֵּ֨ןוַ/יִּתֵּ֨ן הַ/מֶּ֜לֶךְהַ/מֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶתאֶת הַ/כֶּ֧סֶףהַ/כֶּ֧סֶף וְ/אֶתוְ/אֶת הַ/זָּהָ֛בהַ/זָּהָ֛ב בִּ/ירוּשָׁלִַ֖םבִּ/ירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם כָּ/אֲבָנִ֑יםכָּ/אֲבָנִ֑ים וְ/אֵ֣תוְ/אֵ֣ת הָ/אֲרָזִ֗יםהָ/אֲרָזִ֗ים נָתַ֛ןנָתַ֛ן כַּ/שִּׁקְמִ֥יםכַּ/שִּׁקְמִ֥ים אֲשֶׁראֲשֶׁר בַּ/שְּׁפֵלָ֖הבַּ/שְּׁפֵלָ֖ה לָ/רֹֽבלָ/רֹֽב
왕이 예루살렘에서 은금을 돌 같이 흔하게 하고 백향목을 평지의 뽕나무 같이 많게 하였더라
During Solomon's reign, silver and gold were as plentiful in Jerusalem as stones. And valuable cedarwood was as common as the sycamore wood that grows in the foothills of Judah.

וּ/מוֹצָ֧אוּ/מוֹצָ֧א הַ/סּוּסִ֛יםהַ/סּוּסִ֛ים אֲשֶׁ֥ראֲשֶׁ֥ר לִ/שְׁלֹמֹ֖הלִ/שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה מִ/מִּצְרָ֑יִםמִ/מִּצְרָ֑יִם וּ/מִ/קְוֵ֕אוּ/מִ/קְוֵ֕א סֹחֲרֵ֣יסֹחֲרֵ֣י הַ/מֶּ֔לֶךְהַ/מֶּ֔לֶךְ מִ/קְוֵ֥אמִ/קְוֵ֥א יִקְח֖וּיִקְח֖וּ בִּ/מְחִֽירבִּ/מְחִֽיר
솔로몬의 말들은 애굽과 구에에서 사들였으니 왕의 무역상들이 떼로 값을 정하여 산 것이며
Solomon's horses were imported from Egypt and from Cilicia; the king's traders acquired them from Cilicia at the standard price.

וַֽ֠/יַּעֲלוּוַֽ֠/יַּעֲלוּ וַ/יּוֹצִ֨יאוּוַ/יּוֹצִ֨יאוּ מִ/מִּצְרַ֤יִםמִ/מִּצְרַ֤יִם מֶרְכָּבָה֙מֶרְכָּבָה֙ בְּ/שֵׁ֣שׁבְּ/שֵׁ֣שׁ מֵא֣וֹתמֵא֣וֹת כֶּ֔סֶףכֶּ֔סֶף וְ/ס֖וּסוְ/ס֖וּס בַּ/חֲמִשִּׁ֣יםבַּ/חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים וּ/מֵאָ֑הוּ/מֵאָ֑ה וְ֠/כֵןוְ֠/כֵן לְ/כָללְ/כָל מַלְכֵ֧ימַלְכֵ֧י הַֽ/חִתִּ֛יםהַֽ/חִתִּ֛ים וּ/מַלְכֵ֥יוּ/מַלְכֵ֥י אֲרָ֖םאֲרָ֖ם בְּ/יָדָ֥/םבְּ/יָדָ֥/ם יוֹצִֽיאוּיוֹצִֽיאוּ
애굽에서 사들인 병거는 한대에 은 육백 세겔이요 말은 백오십 세겔이라 이와 같이 헷 사람들의 모든 왕들과 아람 왕들을 위하여 그들의 손으로 되팔기도 하였더라
At that time, Egyptian chariots delivered to Jerusalem could be purchased for 600 pieces of silver, and horses could be bought for 150 pieces of silver. Many of these were then resold to the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Aram.

וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶרוַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹ֗השְׁלֹמֹ֗ה לִ/בְנ֥וֹתלִ/בְנ֥וֹת בַּ֨יִת֙בַּ֨יִת֙ לְ/שֵׁ֣םלְ/שֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֔היְהוָ֔ה וּ/בַ֖יִתוּ/בַ֖יִת לְ/מַלְכוּתֽ/וֹלְ/מַלְכוּתֽ/וֹ
